Organized by Createch Bulgaria — Bulgaria’s first cluster dedicated to the cultural and creative industries — the event aims to highlight the key role these sectors play in modern society and their growing importance as drivers of economic development.
Built on knowledge, innovation, and creativity, the cultural and creative industries not only generate significant economic impact — according to Eurostat, they employ 8.7 million people across the EU (3.8% of the total workforce, representing 1.2 million enterprises) — but also shape identity, culture, and values.

With the third edition of Createch Summit South East Europe, our goal is to strengthen the dialogue between industries, encourage entrepreneurship, and showcase the latest trends shaping the future of the sector,”

The 2025 edition will focus on entrepreneurship in the creative industries, the role of women in the creative sector, and impactful topics such as immersive technologies (VR & AR), sustainable design, film production, and game development.
For the first time, the conference will also feature the participation of the European Union’s Creative Europe Programme, which supports the cultural, creative, and audiovisual sectors. Between 2021 and 2027, the programme has a budget of €2.44 billion dedicated to supporting projects that reach new audiences, encourage the exchange of skills and knowledge, and strengthen the capacity of cultural and creative organizations. The team of Creative Europe Desk Bulgaria will host a special practical workshop for organizations and professionals interested in applying for the programme and learning more about its opportunities.
